Locko Park - Peak District Walk

A walk that took a lot longer than it should have done due to the need to find a new starting point. A landowner is disputing a right of way and has blocked the route that should have been the start of the walk.

Route: Dale Abbey - Dale Hills - Locko Park - Quarry Farm - Hollies Farm - Dale Abbey
Distance: 5.5 miles Ascent: 144 metres Time Taken: 3 hours

I wasn't expecting to pass by here but the need to change the route
resulted in me walking right by it.
A somewhat awkward route meant I was soon viewing the abbey from some distance and all because a few yards of path have been closed.
A broad track took me through the area known as Dale Hills.
